YOUTH and CHILDREN
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Children youth, and adults at Catawissa Avenue UMC take part in hands-on, creative age-appropriate lessons. Classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9 am. Our children's classes study the same story each week. Our Franks discussion Group is talking about particular avenues in which to reach the community in effective ways. We invite you to join in our discussions each week as we heed Christ's call to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Each summer Catawissa Avenue UMC offers a Vacation Bible School Program based on a specific theme. Each year is a new and exciting theme for the children, but the message always remains the same--discovering God's love for them and his plan for their lives. Children take part in music, scripture, crafts, snacks and games. Vacation Bible School for 2018 will be a sleepover from Friday, July 27, 2018 at 5:00pm to Saturday at 5:00pm, For more information, select the "event" tab above, drop down list to "upcoming events" and scroll down the page..
